Nasim obtained her B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2011. Then she got her M.Sc. in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). She graduated with a PhD from The City College of New York and CUNY Graduate Center. Her research includes the synthesis and characterization of transition metal oxides nanocrystals. These nanoparticles are used in many applications such as memory devices, energy storage, etc. Nasim is also an adjunct lecturer teaching General Chemistry at City College of New York. Beside research, she is interested in travelling and photography. Nasim is currently a Senior Scientist at L’Oreal USA.
